SOLD...SOLD....SOLD: 1933 American Austin Coupe
Features a recently cleaned fuel tank, new fuel line and rebuilt carburetor. Also has new radiator hoses, new keys to the original ignition switch, one new inner tube and a new condenser. Several used parts were also contributed from my stash including: four tires, a battery, a Ford coil, spark plug wiring, an auxiliary headlight switch, a starter switch (to engage the Ford solenoid), a water outlet and a Mexican blanket. A Zenith B-4 carburetor has been fitted along with a larger than stock exhaust pipe. Runs around the driveway in all gears. Steers and stops (kind of). The engine holds oil pressure and the generator charges. Surprisingly solid car with some rust in the bottom of the cowl, good floors and a few minor dents. Has original parking brake handle, locking exterior door handle (no key), diamond bolts in the rear bumper, correct COHO tail lights, a brake light switch and four usable hub caps. This car is pictured in early issues of Rooster Tails, including issue #6, April, 1970 (page 6). The January, 1971, Roster showed Dale Weller to be the owner at that time. The car was in storage in Oxnard, CA, from 1979 until 2018. $3500. Registered non-op in my name. Glenn Davis - email [email protected] for additional pictures.
